Heatwave and Wimbledon

This week we have been relaxing at home. It is incredibly hot and Ruby doesn't enjoy social activities in the heat. We have been lounging around in minimal clothing at home with Granny. She is really coming along, she likes standing up and doing some slightly uncoordinated random steps. She loves touching her pram toy, she enjoys tummy time and holds her head up well. She can roll onto her side sometimes but gets stuck there.

Today we went to baby sensory, Ruby really enjoyed the bubble machine and the puppet show. We had lunch with Claire and Lee-Anne, they are so sweet.

Ruby is sleeping a little better but honestly I dont think we will make much progress now until she is weaned. She is very good at going to bed by 7ish, we do a dream feed about 10.30, then try to skip the midnight feed, a 2 ish feed, a 5ish feed. Into the bed still (oh dear) and then up about 7. I feel pretty stiff, apparently everything is tightening up after the pregnancy. I am also a little worried about healing up elsewhere - nurse check tomorrow.

Everyone on our road is lovely. We have made friends with Josh and Mamiko on perfect view as well as all our neighbours. I know so many people around Bath I cant remember them all.

 Happy Days :-)
