She had an off day on Sunday, she slept all day and hardly fed at all. I wished I had a pump for the surplus milk as I was really uncomfortable. During the night she vomited twice which was quite worrying but she seemed happy enough. The next couple of days she fed a lot and I wished I could try her with a bottle.
I have got a pump now but Ruby has 'declined' it with much choking / gagging and screaming!
We had a nice walk round Dyrham on Bank Holiday Monday - yum - cakes.
Mum and Dad visited again on election day (May 7th). Dad gave me his photos of Ruby as a newborn - she was so small! She has really come on a lot this week (5 weeks old), she is awake most of the day and looks around very intently. She has just started to reach towards things and will give the occasional smile. Unable to catch this on camera yet :-) ooh - here's one!

On Friday we went to the garden centre and bought some sweet peas. I have not yet been able to plant them though.
Saturday we met up with Claire/Ferg Katie/Graham in the Grocer for lunch. We walked around Victoria park, it was beautiful and sunny and we ate ice creams. The men all looked funny with the three prams - very Dad-ish. Sunday we had a rest day as we are both pretty knackered.
Monday Roz came to visit and we had lunch in the Tramshed. She had a lovely cuddle with Rubster who slept most of the time. Tuesday I took Marianne and Danny to see Carina and Nicholas. Very sweet! Ruby is quite a bit bigger than the other babies but this could be because she was late and they were early. She is a good feeder!
Wednesday we went to baby cinema and watched Far from the Madding Crowd. It was a nice film but I felt there must be more depth to the book? Should read it sometime - hahaha!
Today we are having a rest day as the weather has suddenly turned hideous and we are both tired. Off to feed the little angel now xx
